come and join the festivities...

Come and join us for an end of year event, celebrating the Village parklet ‘Pete’s Landing’, under development in Pete Street out in front of the Library.

Locals are busy building the crates, sorting the flagpole and fine tuning the lockers – plus ducks & eels! – to “furnish” the Landing for the community’s enjoyment.

Gather down at ‘Poplar Crescent’ (see map at top of page) on Saturday 30th November at 4pm to welcome “Pete” when the crew bring the boat up the river, arriving at Pete’s Landing around 4.30pm with festivities.

Diary it now and a more detailed notice will be sent out a few days prior. If you have, please bring along instruments to play!

Phone/txt Di if you want to help with the installation etc (ph 3650 789 / mob 027 232 5690)

Can you help with installing Pete’s Landing?

Have you spare:

  • Sunhats (to add to a collection to be available in one of the lockers)
  • Watering Can
  • Natural rope
  • Design/Enviro/etc Magazines, and
  • Decoy duck for the structure, or,
  • (real) whitebait & eel for the festivities!

See you there, all welcome!
